Judge Jackie: Disorder in the Court, wins Best Musical and Best Ensemble at the Adelaide Theatre Guide 2018/19 ‘Curtain Call’ Music Theatre awards

David Gauci’s Davine Productions has added two more trophies to its long lineup of honours, winning both Best Musical and Best Ensemble in the Adelaide Theatre Guide awards for its 2019 Fringe production of Judge Jackie, Disorder in the Court.

The Adelaide Theatre Guide reviewers’ Curtain Call awards recognise excellence in live theatre for both professional and amateur performances in South Australia.

Judge Jackie, Disorder in the Court was an Australian premiere and the ensemble featured five of SA’s finest talent. The “Davine Ensemble” was Katie Packer, Adam Goodburn, Joshua Angeles, Casmira Hambledon and Paul Rodda with musical direction by Martin Cheney.

David Gauci, director/producer of Davine Productions, has carved out a niche in the South Australian music theatre scene by presenting Australian or South Australian premieres of lesser-known, non-mainstream musicals.
