IT WAS WORTH THE WEIGHT

David Gauci teams up with Josh Belperio once again to present his award winning Cabaret presentation ‘It was Worth the Weight’.

He has sung at over a thousand weddings, countless receptions and the inaugural Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2001.

David Gauci is perhaps Adelaide’s most unsung singer and unrecognised talent – ironic, because he stands out in a crowd.

It’s time to discover the local with Josh Groban’s voice and Bruce Willis’ hair.

Winner of the inaugural Adelaide Theatre Guide ‘Best Cabaret’ award in 2016. ‘It Was Worth The Weight’ is a musical chronicle of the unknown extraordinary life of the guy who probably sang at your mother’s wedding and your grandmother’s funeral!

It Was Worth The Weight... is everything a cabaret show should be.

He possesses a big, powerful voice of remarkable range and expressive potential, and timing honed by years of self-deprecation.
